Victim Blaming Wins 2nd Place in Poster Competition at KOMPENSANTI IV Bali

Taking place at the Ganesha University of Education, the KOMPENSANTI activity was organized by the Association of Indonesian Sociology and Anthropology Education Study Programs (APPSANTI) which was intended as a place for competition and collaboration for students of the Sociology and Anthropology Education Study Program under APPSANTI. The activity was held for 3 days with a series of international seminars and the implementation of the final 3 competitions (Posters, Microteaching, and scientific articles, starting from 27-29 October 2022.

The Sociology Education Study Program at the Indonesian University of Education was one of the participants involved in the KOMPENSANTI IV activities. Two student teams passed as final participants in the poster and microteaching competitions. In the poster competition, Satria Adi Nugraha (2019) and Tati Meilani (2020) won the 2nd place trophy. The poster that was contested was entitled Victim Blaming: When Victims are Made Perpetrators of Sexual Violence by Social Media Actors. On this occasion, Satria and Tati called for victim blaming to be voiced in order to create a legal umbrella for victims of sexual violence
