UPI's Leading Research Team Holds FGD on Developing Conflict Resolution Model
UPI's Leading Research Team led by Prof. Dr. Elly Malihah, M.Sc. on August 6, 2024 held an FGD activity "Mapping and Compiling a Conflict Resolution Model for Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (EPSD)". This activity is part of a series of UPI's leading research with the chief researchers Prof. Dr. Elly Malihah, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Bunyamin Maftuh, M.Pd., M.A, and the field research team Lingga Utami, M.Pd., Rengga Akbar Munggaran, M.Sc., Siti Fathimah, M.Pd, and undergraduate students of Sociology Education Syasya Nur'aini Riswandy and Muhammad Rafi Fauzi.
The participants of the activity consisted of teachers at elementary, junior high, and high school levels, in the city of Bandung. Then, this FGD presented a resource person for the national facilitator of the ROOTS Program, namely Sabarina Nur Sarah, M.Pd. and Pathah Pajar Mubarok, M.Pd. This FGD activity produced findings that focused on conflict issues in schools, conflict resolution program approaches, and actors who contributed to conflict resolution at every level of the educational environment.
