In the midst of his busy schedule, Denan managed his time well between academic and non-academic activities. He manages time using several methods or techniques including the alpine method, the eat the frog method, the pomodoro technique and the decision matrix technique. But in essence, he manages time by making notes about what needs to be done, not procrastinating on work and looking for self-motivation. In making notes there are several things that must be considered. First, note the things that must be done and we also want to do the work. Second, record things that need to be done but we are too lazy to do them. Third, note the things we don't have to do and we don't want to do. Then the fourth, note the things that are not important to do and we want to do. After everything is recorded neatly, do it coherently. In addition, he also suggested that it would be better if doing something was done long ago or far from the deadline, because doing something close to the deadline does not make time effective and the work done will not be optimal. After completing various existing jobs, he always gives a break or time to rest, for example by taking the time to exercise so that the condition of the body is healthy and the psyche is much calmer.

Meanwhile, Denan's self-motivation method in achieving his target is by giving punishment if he does something that deviates from the planned target. The punishment in question is a constructive and useful punishment. Don't forget to also appreciate yourself when you have finished doing various things such as playing or taking a vacation, but you have to remember the time frame and don't forget the planned target.

He advised, "For fellow students who are struggling, whether they are achieving achievements or are trying to complete their studies, always remember that students are not only someone who is able to think critically, innovatively and creatively, but a student must also have or have patience sincere, always grateful and don't forget to keep praying. Be patient when a student friend gets a mandate in an organization, the burden is in the form of college assignments or pressure from various parties. Then sincerely in carrying out what we are doing, I feel how difficult and tiring it is in completing studies, but so that the struggle feels beautiful, have a sincere nature. Next is prayer, no matter how small the problem, no matter how small the trial, don't forget to pray and ask for prayers from others, especially asking for prayers from parents because when parents pray for us, it will be accompanied by blessings. And the last thing is gratitude, gratitude should be in the hearts of students. When fellow students go through lectures, especially if they are struggling to achieve achievements at the national or international level, it is important to remember and must apply that whatever the result, as long as the students have tried optimally, everything should be and should be grateful for, whether it wins the competition or not. , whether it's a declining GPA and so on, it's still something to be grateful for, because if you've done something optimally, there's nothing to regret,” concluded Denan.
