Sociology Education Study Program Welcomes New Students Through MOKAKU Event

The Department of Sociology Education at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia officially welcomed new students in the series of Masa Orientasi Kampus dan Kuliah Umum (MOKAKU) events, held from August 26 to 28, 2024. This event serves as an important moment to introduce academic culture and campus life to the new students.

The MOKAKU activities for the faculty and department took place on August 27, 2024. The Head of the Sociology Education Department enthusiastically delivered a welcoming speech, saying, "We are very excited to welcome the new generation of future leaders."

In addition to the welcoming speech from the department head, the MOKAKU event was also filled with a series of activities, such as introductions to faculty and academic staff, a virtual campus tour, and various discussion sessions designed to facilitate interactions between new students and their senior peers.

A total of 94 new students in Sociology Education enthusiastically participated in the MOKAKU activities. With the successful implementation of MOKAKU, the Department of Sociology Education hopes that the new students can adapt well and are ready to face the challenging learning process while contributing to advancing sociological studies in Indonesia.
