Sociology Education Study Program Achieves AQAS International Accreditation
In line with the scientific vision of the Sociology Education Study Program which strives to become a center of excellence for the development and application of Sociology Education science with a national and international reputation, the Sociology Education Study Program at the Bachelor and Master levels has obtained AQAS international accreditation. The Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Program (AQAS) is an international accreditation institution based in Germany. AQAS international accreditation consists of seven indicators, namely curriculum quality; quality assurance; teaching, learning, and student assessment; student admissions, study development, recognition, and certification; teaching staff; learning resources and student support; and public information. The validity period of AQAS accreditation is until March 31, 2029.
This achievement indicates that the study program meets the highest international standards in educational quality and will continue to facilitate superior teaching and research in accordance with global standards. This accreditation not only enhances the institution's reputation in the international arena but also offers wider opportunities for students to gain global recognition in the academic and professional world.
