Sociology Education Students Chosen as Finalists for 10 Ambassadors of Reading for West Java Province in 2022

In 2017 the Regional Library and Archives Service of West Java Province held the election of a Reading Ambassador named the West Java Library Ambassador. However, over time and adjusting to national activities, the name was changed to the election of the West Java Reading Ambassador in 2020. 

Previously, the participants of this West Java Reading Ambassador had to be a Reading Ambassador from their respective Regency/City (the winner of the Regency/City Reading Ambassador election or the delegation). After that, the participants went through an administrative selection, and for approximately one week completed a challenge regarding the literacy movement uploaded on social media, then the participants were given a virtual in person briefing, then the peak activity was at the Grand Final of the West Java Reading Ambassador Selection which was carried out individually. face-to-face at the Graha Pustaloka Hall at the West Java Library and Archives Service (the stages include: interviews, filling out general knowledge test questions, library knowledge tests questions, and question and answer sessions). 

In this selection activity, Sociology Education student, Dyah Fauziah from the class of 2018 batch, was selected as a Finalist for the 10 Great Reading Ambassadors of West Java Province in 2022. 

"There are so many impressions, ranging from the most clichéd ones, namely increasing knowledge, relationships and experience, besides that, a quite special impression is that this event can be a place for me to cultivate self-confidence and build wider networks and friendships. Working and achieving it can be in any important positive field. Young people can be more productive.
