SOCIOLOGY EDU GUIDE (SEG) 2022

Sociology Edu Guide (SEG) is one of the work programs of the Student Executive Board of the Sociology Education Student Association of the Indonesian University of Education which is held for 3 days on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25 and Saturday, October 1, 2022. This activity carries the theme "The Journey to Era Society 5.0 with CCP's Skill in New Normal Period" with the aim that new students have an idea to increase understanding and minimize confusion and loss of direction in the world of lectures. In addition, SEG is also an effort in realizing students who continue to grow to always have innovation and high expectations by providing briefings on authorship, how to take a role in the surrounding environment, determining future plans, and actively participating in improving the quality and competence of themselves by prioritizing superior values. So, new students are able to take the right steps when living a college life and are able to adapt well to their new environment.

The first day of SEG activities was held in Room E-405, Floor IV, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with event content containing presentations on student welfare (Kesmawa), socialization of Student Fund Assistance (Bandawa), outstanding students, and talk shows of the class leader.

The second day of SEG activities was carried out post to post with the distribution of posts around FPIPS. This activity is called Running HMPS which contains presentations about organizations and communities in it such as BEM HMPS, DPM HMPS, and JMPS.

The third day of SEG activities was held in Room E-405, Floor IV, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with event content containing presentations about "Growth vs Fixed Mindset", PLKTI, and staging socio-drama by new students of sociology education 2022.
