OSI: Indonesian Sociology Olympiad 2022

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, the Sociology Education Student Association of UPI carried out a series of Sociology Edu Festival (SEF) activities, namely the Indonesian Sociology Olympiad (OSI). With the theme MAGIC OF CPC (Make a Golden Generation Competent of Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Communication Skills) online via Zoom and attended by 200 participants from all over Indonesia. This activity was guided by Dipa Suharto as the Master of Ceremony (MC) from the 2018 Sociology Education Students and opened by Mrs. Dr. Siti Nurbayani K., S.Pd., M.Sc. as Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs, Faculty of Social Science Education.

OSI is a forum for channeling interests and talents for high school/MA students throughout Indonesia, which is implemented in a series of competitions at the national level. This activity includes the Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) competition, Da'i, Essays, Posters, and Business Plans.

The judges for each competition are:

1) MTQ Judges: Ghanjar Eka Subakti, M.Pd., and M. Ramdan Mubarok, S.Pd.

2) Jury Da'i: Dr. Pandu Hyangsewu, S.Th.I, M.Ag. and Risris Hari Nugraha, M. Hum.

3) Essay Judge: Dr. Syaifullah, S.Pd., M.Sc. and Firman Azis, S.Pd., M.Pd.

4) Poster Jury: Yulia Puspita, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Drs. Harry Sulastianto, M.Sn.

5) Business Plan Jury: Arief Budiman, S.S., S.Sos., IMSMEs., Ismail Yusuf, ST., MBA. and Fahry Ahmad, S.Par., M.M.Par.

Hopefully, by holding this activity, it can facilitate the interests and talents of SMA/MA Equivalent students and students of Sociology Education who are talented in their fields.
