MBKM Curriculum Development Meeting for Sociology Education Study Program Faculty of Social Science Education, Indonesia University of Education

Friday, August 13, 2021, the Sociology Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Science Education, Indonesia University of Education held an online MBKM Curriculum Development Meeting. The new policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding MBKM has made the need for curriculum development more urgent because it should be the basis for consideration in the development of higher education study programs. One of the main policies regarding MBKM that needs to be accommodated in the curriculum is the right to study for three semesters outside the study program. Another consideration that needs to be used as the basis for curriculum development in higher education is the need to prepare graduate competencies that are ready to adapt to the demands of Revolution 4.0 and 21st Learning Skills skills. Along with this demand, the higher education curriculum needs to change the curriculum development paradigm, which is oriented towards MBKM and Outcomes-Based Education (OBE). Present at the meeting Prof. Dr. Elly Malihah, M.Si as the head of the curriculum development team for the Sociology Education Study Program, along with the Head of the Study Program, Secretary of the Study Program, Dr. Yadi Ruyadi, Dr. Siti Nurbayani K, M.Si along with the young lecturers.
