The Ministry of Education and Culture launched the Kampus Mengajar program, which has been going on for two generations in 2020 and 2021. Kampus Mengajar is implemented as proof of campus dedication through college students to support the development of national education in pandemic conditions. Students can develop and practice the knowledge that has been obtained in college to schools that have been entrusted with this Kampus Mengajar. The selected schools are schools that have accreditation under A or in the 3T area (Front, Remote, and Disadvantaged). Kampus Merdeka provides flexibility for students who attend campus teaching to implement activities in local elementary and junior high schools.

The experience of students of the Sociology Education study program undergoing the Teaching Campus Batch 2 from 23 July – 18 December 2021. Of course, many activities are carried out during the five months of the teaching campus program. The existence of online and offline teaching activities is usually filled when the teacher is unable to attend or according to an agreement between the teacher and students. This teaching activity aims to improve student's numeracy and literacy skills. Then there are technology adaptation activities where students introduce the AKSI application and adapt the use of laptops and cellphones to students. This activity helps students familiarize themselves with online assessments that will be needed later. In addition to students, adapting technology is also applied to teachers because not all teachers can master technology, and this technology will later help teachers prepare interesting learning materials such as Canva, Quizizz, Google Classroom, Kahoot, and others. As for other activities, namely helping teachers or schools in various administrative matters such as lesson plans, learning materials, study modules, and others, as said, not all teachers, especially senior teachers, can access technological tools such as laptops, so they need help from campus students teaching.

In this campus teaching program, students can guide and assist students in national assessment activities held on 4-7 October 2021 for junior high schools (SMP) and elementary schools (SD) on 8-11 November 2021. The National Assessment is an assessment program for the quality of each school, madrasah, and equality program at the primary and secondary levels. The quality of the education unit is assessed based on the primary student learning outcomes (literacy, numeracy, and character) and the quality of the teaching and learning process, and the climate of the academic unit that supports learning.

In conclusion, this campus teaching program is beneficial and provides valuable experiences for schools, teachers, students, and campus students teaching. In addition to many activities that are beneficial for students and help students in their interests and talents, the teaching campus also provides a teaching experience for students that will not be forgotten and can increase students' social sensitivity to problems in the surrounding community. Of course, in the implementation of this class 2 teaching campus, there are still many shortcomings, but these shortcomings can be used as an experience and lesson so that it will become better later.
