Brilliant Achievement of Alumni of Sociology Education as Education Ambassador of West Java Province 2022

2018 Sociology Education Alumni, Dian Wardiana, S.Pd was selected as the Education Ambassador of West Java Province for the 2022 Best Advocacy Category in the 2022 West Java Province Educational Children's Selection. This achievement was achieved after competing and successfully eliminating 235 candidates from various districts and cities throughout -West Java, as well as various selection stages, from file selection, talent show tests, and interviews to online quarantine starting in February with several presentations. Furthermore, in the one-week challenge, Dian (as she is called) must make video reels daily with themes determined by the committee, ranging from healthy lifestyles and culture to regional specialties. The next stage is voting for talent show videos and advocacy videos, offline quarantine for LGD, preparation for the grand final, photoshoot, and finally, the grand final with the theme The Majestic of West Java.

As the West Java Education Ambassador, Dian Wardiana has several duties, including (1) Advocates, both individual advocacy and community advocacy; (2) Mediator, bridging the voices of education activists from the regions to the government; (3) Facilitator, assisting in the development of formal and non-formal education in the community; (4) Collaborators, synergize with associations, organizations, communities, and government in advancing education in West Java.

Dian's passion for education and literacy, as well as her noble goals when participating in the selection of West Java education ambassadors, was bridged by being chosen as West Java Education Ambassador. He can carry out his vision and mission in the world of education, especially in mentoring and self-development for children with disabilities, as well as collaborating with Biruku in carrying out disability education, carrying out advocacy, and filling educational programs on TV Harmoni and RRI Jabar.
