Advocacy for Training for Assisting Women Cadres in the Prevention and Protection of Victims of Sexual Violence
Community service is part of the Tri dharma of Higher Education. On this occasion, the Sociology Education Study Program carried out service activities in Antapani District, Bandung City. The Chief Executive of the training, Prof. Dr. Elly Malihah, M.Si., held an advocacy activity for training on Mentoring Women Cadres in the Prevention and Protection of Victims of Sexual Violence intended to improve the capacity of cadres in Antapani District, Bandung City as the frontline supporting and providing services for cases of sexual violence that occur. In addition, it is also an effort to separate cadres from victims of sexual violence at a practical and implementative level.
This Advocacy Training lasts for 2 (two) days and is divided into several educational training sessions consisting of detailed material delivery sessions by speakers, Pre test and Post test, followed by a question and answer discussion session. This Advocacy Training activity is expected not only to reach here, in the future it will continue to be established with a joint commitment between each participant and various stake holders to be able to to be a pioneer in preventing and protecting the community from the crime of sexual violence, especially women in Antapani District, Bandung City.
