1st Sharing On The Road: Podcast Around Us

Wednesday, October 27 2021, Sociology Education Student A`ssociation (HMPS) of Indonesia University of Education has held the 1st online “Sharing On The Road (SOTR) webinar via Zoom Meeting with the theme “POS: Podcast Around Us”. The 1st Sharing On The Road (SOTR) is one of the work programs of the Ministry of Social and Political Department, which aims to expand information on how to manage and optimize podcast content so that it can be attractive and acceptable to the wider community. This activity was guided by Sansa Bunga Agista, a Sociology Education student of 2020 as the MC and Windi Nurhalimah, a Sociology Education student of 2020 as moderator. 

The series of events consisted of lectures given by Sima Hani Anindita as a representative of the Campus Podcast Community. This activity began with remarks from several parties and the introduction of HMPS as well as the Campus Podcast Community. The activity continued with discussions and presentations from the Campus Podcast Community. The explanation given was regarding the definition of the podcast, what can and cannot be done in making podcasts, podcast resources, how to manage podcasts, the platforms used, podcast marketing targets, podcast editing applications, and how to consistently upload podcasts. The activity was closed with a question and answer session, closing statement, and documentation session. 

By holding this activity, it is hoped that all students of the Sociology Education Student Association of the Indonesia University of Education can be active in managing podcasts, and can bring content about activities on campus or even in a wider scope to life.
